A Brief history

As a Player, Collector and User of Vintage Collectable Musical equipment from the 1950's, 60's 70's & early 80's. For many year’s I was Based in the City of Brighton & Hove, East Sussex . on the South coast of England .  I do try to specialize in the WOW Factor! Weird, Oddball & the Wonderful of Classic Collectable British, Valve (Tube Amps) Amplification & Bits.  I started to play Guitar in the mid / late 60's & by 1970 was playing all over the UK, later turning Pro with a hit 60's band playing all over Europe TV shows festivals etc continuing up until the mid 90's. Now I play for Fun & Me.

Along with my playing. In 1971 I opened a Music store (Southern Music) in Brighton East Sussex, of which over the years became one of the busiest and best-known stores for Musicians in the south of England .  In the late 80's early 90's I got into shipping Vintage Collectable Musical equipment to & from the USA . During that period much of my business was with my friend Brent Magnano at Guitar Oasis of Huntington Beach , California . Where quite a few pieces that I had shipped found their way into the (Mike Doyle) History of Marshall book Etc.

It was late in 2000 that I decided to reduce my own personal collection & advertise a few pieces in the classified add’s on the internet. The response that I had was unbelievable so I advertised some more & within a few months I had shipped to a great many very satisfied collectors & users alike. I am very proud to say to date (October 2006) without One single complaint or problem. I know that you can't please everybody all of the time but so far I have managed to. Along with making a lot of new friends.  Which has led me to putting this site together.

The aim of this site is not to have the same as everybody else!. Here you most probably won't find a mint condition over priced JTM 45 or AC30. Etc, etc, Or Bulls**t. What you will find is a selection of Vintage British Tube/Valve, Amp Heads, Combo's, Echo Units, Spares, Parts etc, etc. Some you may never have heard of before. But be assured they will all have the Great British Sound & at a value for money Price. Plus some selected value for money new items i.e., Guitars, Strings, Accessories

In time the main aim of this site will be to find and supply a variety of used spare parts, along with some NOS & used Valves/Tubes, Mullard, Brymar, Tungsram etc. Speaker’s Frames/Chassis, Celestion, Fane, Goodman, etc. Original used vintage as well as English Re-cones. Adding to the Inventory as often as possible. At Good Honest & Affordable prices, if I don't have what you are looking for, Ask & I might be able to find it for you!.
